Well, I myself always try to fit a song on a single page. But sometimes it is just not possible.

… adjust the vertical line spacing to get a good compromise between maximizing the number of lines per page and readability … use horizontal orientation … use da capo/dal segno … use first and second endings … use text annotations- It's All Over Now Baby Blue (Baby Blue) (e.g. "4th verse = harp solo, without bars 5 and 10")

- The River (Bruce Springsteen) (3 pages version and a one page version)
Double page or side-by-side view
Most printer drivers allow you to place two pages side by side on a single sheet. If you prefer a digital version, you can also generate a PDF directly from the printer driver.
